    Game 4 @ O'neal: W 31-30

Recap:  I don't know if I have any words to describe Saturday's game!  We definitely had our hands full, they were a good team.  The kids showed so much heart and determination, I am so proud of them.  The last 5 seconds of the game is still a blur :).  I really want to stress to the kids that although the last shot of the game (and what a great one it was) was what won it for us, it was the play in the final 2 minutes that got us back in it - baskets, steals, hustles for jump balls, that put us in a position to win it.  We play the same team in our first game this week, so it'll be a great rematch.

    Game 3 vs Richardson: W 40-18

Recap:  A slow start made for an intense first half.  Soon, the defense tightened up and the scoring streak took off.  We were short handed so the kids had to do a lot of running.  As with each game, I am so proud of each and every kids effort and determination.  Let's keep the streak alive this weekend!

    Game 2 vs Martinez: W 21-11

Recap:  The hard work and winning continues.  The Destroyers got off to a commanding start, going into halftime with a shutout.  We were able to thwart a late rally by team Martinez and ice the win with a couple of key baskets in the final 2 minutes.  Once again, we had at least 5 different players score a basket.  I was really impressed with the team's defense and hustle which led to many rebounds, steals, & fast breaks.  The baskets didn't quite fall as easily as they did in the first game, but we were able to get a lot of shots, and good quality shots that will start falling as the season progresses.  Keep up the great work!

    Game 1 @ Richardson:  W 39-14

Recap:  What a start to the season!!  The game got off to a slow start, but once the baskets started falling, they didn't stop!  At least 6 different players scored a      basket, a true sign of a TEAM.  I couldn't be more proud of the boys and their effort from today's game.
